Lest anyone get the impression that my little on line journal of thoughts and opinions is only about how much I truly detest the way the Grandpa Terrorists are trying to run out town into the ground... I thought I would share some positive things about the Blue Mt. City!
There are some great places to eat here in our town and here are a few:
Miguels: I have loved this place since back when they were next to Staters! All the food is fresh, and the size of the burritos is perfect. Prices are very reasonable and the staff has always been extremely courteous. Try the Potato burrito with pork, its a mean by itself!
Taco Village: When you walk in and get a warm handshake from Hector you know your in the right place! His little hole in the wall puts out some impressive meals at a wallet friendly price, and the chips are always fresh along with the best home made salsa in town! Try the Mexican Flag burrito, you'll go back I promise you will!
Mongolian Barbecue: The city's newest restaurant is certainly one of its best! diner is 'all you can eat' and there are always at least two chefs so the wait is never long. In just the first few weeks we have been over 5 times so far! The selection of meats is great and the toppings are more than enough for this guy to load up my bowl!
Bonellos New York Pizza: The garlic knuckles are a must try at least once, start your diet the day after and enjoy these little nuggets of pure eating pleasure!

Walt for Mayor, that idea just 'Stanks'!
The one and only time I went into the pasta place was to get a sandwich from the place I had been hearing about that supposedly supply's all the best eateries with the finest in fresh deli meats. While that may indeed be true I was not impressed with the reformed biker gurl that took my order or the overwhelming odor of not fresh bread or meats but cigarettes. The sandwich was decent, the experience sucked. Years later I hear the owner is running for Mayor, the same guy that I see each month at the City Council meetings yelling at everyone constantly. The guy never says anything nice, or kind about our little town. Its always whats wrong with Grand Terrace and how its someones else's fault. After some asking around I hear that mean Mrs Miller is back at it again and this Walt guy is simply her newest puppet. Really Mrs Miller? You couldnt do ANY better than this bitter old man? If this is all you can come up with now shouldn't you really stop trying already? When are you going to get it through your head that W.R. Hearst you are NOT! Your little rag may be known on the street as Millers Grand Terrace Views, but that doesnt mean the city agrees with you! Is it your plan to put Walt into place so that your City Views paper can continue milking our town for your advertising funds? Isnt that kinda what got Mr Miller ARRESTED for? Your inaccurate assumption that the commoners of Grand Terrace are stupid is pretty damn insulting. Walt, please stay in the deli business. Peddle your fine meats and stay out of politics because your meat may be great but your baloney 'Stanks'!!
