Yes sir, that was in fact me waving at you. Not because I was in a good mood and making a friendly gesture toward a fellow resident. Not because was actually being nice. I simply want you to realize that I do indeed know when you are there. You do really need to work on your clandestine recon work, or give up the cloak and dagger completely. Although '68 was a million years ago on the calendar its fresh in my recollections, yesterday as a matter of fact and some sense's never waiver once honed to a razor edge. Two casual crossings of the path in one day is no accident. I'm just saying.

Boy it didn't take long at all for the Grandpa Terrorist to find an avenue to 'prove beyond a shadow of doubt' that they NOT are holding the strings of their new puppet Mayor! It seems a bit quick on the trigger but perhaps the Gramps folks are runnin a bit scared, as they should be. To anyone there, or watching from home, it was very obvious that Walt was directed by his new boss(s) to make some back room deals and drag this whole thing on more than likely just to prove that he isn't just a puppet leader. "Make some waves Walt, just not any tidal waves...." Once it was said that both parties had already been informed of what was coming and had agreed to the changes it was pretty clear. Its actually getting amusing because the Grandpa Terrorists continually screamed for 'transparency' throughout the campaigns, well I guess they got what they were demanding because its very transparent now who our new leadership really is! Although it nice to know that they really think we are all stupid and wont EVER figure it out. I'm just saying.

Its Miller Time.

After three long months of back room deals, horse trading and openly shopping a seat on the City Council its finally all over. Yes, we have no one to blame but ourselves for not rallying more than 3,000 measly people to get off their ass and get out to vote so we shouldn't cry over spilled milk, much like spilled milk though we wont really smell the stink for quite a while. Things to look for during the oncoming 'Miller Time' include;

Watch for a concentrated effort to quietly remove the cities Chamber of Commerce, by taking away city funding and other pressures. Once the Chamber is gone so will be the only non partial source of news in the Grand Terrace so, as if by magic the City News will again be relevant! There may not be any direct ads paid for by Grand Terrace but, I bet you there WILL be some type of city event that needs to be advertised and perhaps El Pasta will be catering it, again by magic, so Walt will step up and pay for the ad in the City News. Of course later submit for reimbursement from the city....
I am pretty sure its just a matter of time before we are instructed that the 'official' caterer for all city events will be El Pasta!
They were unable to get the ban on youth fund raising past so look for an even bigger effort in the future against the kids of Grand Terrace, of course under the guise of keeping Grand Terrace safer...
Of course the obvious is that we should all get used to the number 4.6! It was their only platform and its all they really have that they can work on publicly so I'm sure it will simply dominate all discussion at least for the near future....
The most interesting part though, will be to see the fruition of all the trading that Marge did for votes to get her boy into the drivers seat. Believe it folks, there were many, and I mean MANY a conversation that went something like this; "Listen, I know hes a bully and a angry guy but I have him under my thumb now. Trust me when I say he wont be a problem, he knows exactly WHO he works for and he will do exactly what he is told.... now, whats your vote gonna cost us?" Of course followed by furious scribbling in a day planner! Boy her little book must weigh like a million pounds with all the favors owed on those pages! Rest assured there are quite a few that will be watching for those rewards to be dolled out, and the blinding light of truth will shine upon them with lightning speed and pinpoint accuracy!
Once they get Sylvia into her new seat it may seam hopeless however there are cracks in the walls of the Miller Mansion folks, rumors are a floating that there may not be the happiest of unions between the three amigo(a)s..... Either way, all is not lost folks. Through it all we have learned much, and we will now see how the Grandpa Terrorists handle the microscope that they themselves have used against others. If they thought they could quietly get back into City Hall without notice they were sorely mistaken. Though still in the shadows of evil the Light of truth is far reaching and will illuminate their every move, we are watching. I'm Just Saying.....

Thankfully there have been others that are now showing dis satisfaction with the Cyber Bully tactics of the Grandpa Terrorist organization! Many have seen those wonderful video and now many are taking to the forums as way to express their displeasure with the online terrorism in our town. I just had to re-post one I read today with my many, many kudos for a very well said piece!

OMG, Really? Thats is juat as stupid as 'Stanks-a-bit' saying he's not a NAZI after it was 'disclosed' that he was born in Germany! My goodness those folsk truly believ that everyone is stupid! Which completly makes their attitude that we all need THEM to show us the way understandable! They really are that deluded that they think they are helping us, guiding us through the wickedness of the world to a better place, if we would all just listen to them this town would really be a nice place, damn it!
They say we don't need no stinking blue mountain outlook, the grand terrace city news is the ONLY paper this town needs!
They dont want us to seel fireworks, not because of any real safety issue but solely because those sports associations will just spend all that money on trinkets and trophies. They say instead of EVERYONE getting a trophy it would be a good thing that only WINNERS get them, it will make the losers try harder next year!
They have implied that a person got that super wonderful guy Miller arrested simply because she slept with a high ranking official, damn if she can get INNOCENT people arrested with sex then SIGN ME UP!
